Playdough
This works just when you are about to give up.
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cooking salt
1 cup water
1 tbsp bi-carb
1 tbsp cooking oil
food colouring or powder paint
In a saucepan, mix flour, water, salt and bi-carb.
Cook over a medium heat until thick and doughy.
Take off heat and allow to cool till it is able to be handled.
Add oil and kneed until incorporated.
Turn out onto a floured benchtop and kneed until smooth.
Cut into 6 pieces and add desired colour to each piece. Kneed until colour is dispersed throughout the dough.
Ready to play.
Note: Store made playdough in an airtight container in the fridge when not in use.
