Toddlers In The Kitchen


Tonight was a good night.
The 2 year old decided she wanted to help in the kitchen and with the cooking. She did at least half the work on the scrambled eggs. I was holding the baby (6 weeks today) as she was grumbling, so the 2 year old mixed and helped add things. When it came time to cook it, she even did the stirring on the stove top, under my supervision. I made her change to a long handled spoon just so she would not burn herself. I tried to finish off the eggs but she was too insistent and had to do it all herself.
Overall, the eggs were good and she was proud of her achievement.
I thought it just had to be mentioned here.
