happy new year everyone!!

30th of dec at about 11pm me and 3 mates headed off in a Hilux down the sounds. we stopped at every possum to try and bash them--we saw 19. spent 20 mins throwin stones at one on top of a power pole!! stayed in sandy bay at a friends bach and the next morning carried on to Titirangi Bay. we camped there for the next 2 nights and had heaps of fun. played on the beach, took the inflatable dinghy out and snorkeled and swam etc. had a bunch of mates from touch rugby down there and they had a karaoke machine to see the new year in with. about 100 people camping there all up. 2nd of jan we headed back to Kenepuru sound and took out lisa delaneys parents boat from their bach. another day in the sun, fishing and reading books and lying on the beach!! stayed at their bach the night and back to nelson on saturday the 3rd with a stop in Pelorus for a swim. real hot day. back to work on the 5th and then last weekend went to the cricket in Christchurch. 9 of us went down and i chanted Shoaibs a chucker and got heaps of people chanting with me and i lost my voice. met shoaib later that nite in town and shook his hand!!
this week been over 30deg every day at work--34 on friday. saturday went to kaiteriteri--real nice and back to my place for a BBQ--our place great for hosting everyone and of course with SKY TV we watched NZ beat Pakistan in a 600 run thriller!!!
This Friday morning we head off at 4am to catch the ferry for Parachute 04 at Mystery Creek--it will rock!! see ya there rufus and john.
